Visual and performing arts is a personal productive therapeutic outlet. My work has often focused on facets of psychology. Specifically what makes humans tick, what allows themselves to make which rationalizations and why. Due to its ever-expanding nature, I believe psychology will always remain a strong source of inspiration for me. I have also been exposed to familial struggles with addictive behavior and mental illness. With art, I have been able to turn this curse into a blessing. The work has progressed from illustrating monsters to working with a more organic abstract approach, utilizing pour techniques and the occasional large house brush. As humans, we can repurpose our pain in a way that enhances the rawness of what real art is: drama.
